The Journal: Chapter OneCHAPTER ONE When Elise was little, around six or seven, her Aunt Marie married a man named Oliver Shaw. They seemed madly in love at the time, even though they'd only known each other for a few months. It didn't surprise Elise's mother, Regina, that Marie had been so quick to wed. She had always been telling Elise how erratic her Auntie Marie was, which she later explained meant that Auntie Marie didn't think things through. Deadly ForsakenAgain, The rage burns through each individual vein It replaces the blood, by which my broken body needs to sustainDeadly Forsaken
Again, I try to damper the rage with no real avail I am controlled by a furious beast, while I stand trapped, burning through my personal hell
The fury continues to burn away, all that is me. It destroys all paths, in which to get free.
It leaves me here broken and drained The beast will never cease my soul is forever stained
I'm plagued by the blood of those lives I've taken My soul is denied, I've joined the deadly forsaken
Forgive what I've doneWhats going on? What have I done wrong? I don't understand why it is I'm left here Floating in a pool of fearForgive what I've done
The pool is made up of blood Still I don't understand I find no peace from the sky above I find a razor in my bloody hand
What have I done I can't die this way I'm too damn young I'm sorry what else can I say?
I was brought down But please I'm not ready to live in the ground There is still life in me I thought that this razor would set me free
Now I'm fading
